STW Lenawee diversion program starts by helping people avoid entering the shelter system whenever possible—by exploring safe alternatives like staying with family, friends, or accessing short-term support through outside business partners. If someone’s last resort is to enter the Emergency Shelter program, we continue working with them to identify quick, safe exits. Once the guest leaves STW Lenawee we do provide limited wrap around resources and case management to have future success and deliver stable living.
