STW Lenawee offers the Extreme Weather Program that includes a warming and cooling center at Helen’s House. The Extreme Weather program allows those without shelter and safety from the elements to come in and have protection from the elements during the daytime hours. If space is available a bed is offered for overnight to continue safety from the extreme weather. Due to fire and safety codes overnight capacity is maintained to the 62 beds that are available.
